I agree with the Post's point of view: Israel's defense of herself should have the support of decent people everywhere. One can only feel contempt toward those who scream against Israel for defending herself. They are the same types of vicious bullies who are forever attacking Israel, then whining when they get their comeuppance. The cries about “innocent civilians” are without foundation. Those who continue to support terrorist governments and their offshoots should recognize that THEY are the ones responsible for the deaths of civilians, not those defending themselves against unprovoked attacks. It would be equally appropriate if the U.S. followed Israel's example and engaged its enemies without compromise.
